MSIG UK Structure

The group first established a local office in London in 1924. Initially it operated as a representative office and subsequently became a subsidiary of the Japanese parent in 1972.

MSIG UK is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company, Ltd. and specialises in providing commercial property, casualty and marine insurance products and services to its customers.

MSIG UK is based within the City of London and is therefore able to access the wealth of insurance knowledge, skills and services that are available in this large and specialist market. This gives us a significant advantage in operating across our territorial area and ensures that we provide our customers with a high level of service.
